We also had some good looking fully GC shows like [I]Bubuki Buranki [/I]and [I]Houseki no Kuni[/I]. All CG means no poor integration with 2D animation. Nowadays I think it look good enough most of the time that people mostly stopped bitching. I think the hate CGI train comes from our legacy of watching it be bad. Although, I haven't been watching much anime. I watched [I]Dandadan[/I] and [I]Train to the end of the world[/I], and I don't remember seeing anything I thought looked egregious.
