Well calculating the mathematical formula of it makes things weirder as much as trying to calculate how quantum stuff affects each other lol because the mathematical formula turns to this:

Takumi's speed = Takumi's base speed x speed of whatever Takumi wanna pass over

Bunta's speed = Bunta's base speed x speed of whatever Bunta wanna pass over

So in the mathematical model Takumi's speed eventually gets closer to Bunta's speed but it would take a long time for it, so eventually their speed will be equal to each other in the end by having a balance of speed and then who will win depends on length of the car or else they cannot ever pass each other lolol.
