Everytime I play the original Destiny intro theme, my memory kicks in from how beautiful the game was back in its early days up until Rise of Iron... The mechanics were amazing from the combat to the storyline.. Met so many players and grind throughout the game with them just to try and receive as many exotic weapons and armor I could earn! Sometimes I even shed tears whenever I listen to that one opera part from the original theme song it's almost like I'm taken back into those days. Destiny 2 is still an awesome game and remains as one of the best shooters I've ever played, but it does not compete to its original form for how sculpted it was created by Bungie. Nightfalls, Strikes, Crucible, Prison of Elders, it hits me to my core when I think about those matches and continue to shed tears because not only do I miss this game when it was prime and active, but I also miss the people I used to play with, however I surely didn't lose everyone who joined with me through the D1 quest, as my brother was also by my side to defeat every one of these nightfalls and raids... I wonder if there are still many others out there who reminisce the way I do with Destiny 1, and honor the huge amount of success Bungie has gained with this game since square one!

I got my PS4 and started right at the time The Taken King came out and those couple years were truly special for me. All the online friends I made, the community itself being super passionate about the game, I've never seen anything like that. I played so much that I basically burned out and skipped on Wrath of the Machine entirely. Then Destiny 2 came out and I had a blast with the campaign and some other stuff. However it just didnt feel as good as the first game no matter what. Its like they just downgraded the game, deleted most of the progress they made through years with the first game just to sell it back again later. Even first two DLCs were pretty meh. The final nail to the coffin for me was the PC release because all that tight community fell apart and from a console game it became just another shooter where people pay more attention to resolution and fps than the game itself. So yeah I was very dissapointed with D2 but cherish my memories of good old days of D1. ::cirnoshrug
