Which version should of Princess Crown should I play?

Hey yall, been trying to play Princess Crown but the game has different versions like a regular version and an EX version with numbers like "1m" and "11m" and it seems like there are different translation patches and they work for specific versions? I'm all confused here so a guiding hand is needed. Found some download links for patched versions on cdromance which should I go for?? https://cdromance.org/sega_saturn_isos/princess-crown-japan/

The 1m and 11m are the Japanese versions. They are the original Japanese release of the game and a re-release of the Japanese version, respectively.

The English v1.0 download is what it says on the tin: It's the same game, but in english. If that's all you want, then download this version.

The EX version is the same as English v1.0, but with updates and enhancements. This includes a wider screen resolution and some updated graphical effects. If that sounds cool to you, download this version. Otherwise, stick with English v1.0.

Does the EX version allow you to turn on and off those extra enhancements? or are they baked in? I would rather have the option to see them and choose myself

The EX additions are baked in, so maybe download and try both English versions to see which one you prefer.
