Which game franchise/series do you dislike, even though you wish you didn’t?

GTA games. I always see everyone having a blast playing those but everytime I tried one, I just got bored after an hour or so...

I used to love the free roam but nowadays I prefer doing the missions.

Yeah, when I was a little kid I found GTA really fun and goofy, but as an adult I just have no interest in it. Not really into aimless free roam now that so many games do it, I've had my fill, and I'd rather play a game that has a few core ideas it dials in on than one that tries to put its hand into a little bit of everything. I'd rather play Crazy Taxi than GTA's taxi minigame, rather play Max Payne than a combat mission, ect.

If you're going to let me wander aimlessly, at least give me a checklist of some sort and a rough idea of how many of a given collectible is in a given region. Give me collectathon shenanigans and some occasional actual goals in my open world games.
