Which atialiasing setting produces less artifacting at 720p?

Hey... I'm from a time when antialiasing was a simple on or off. Now I can't turn it off at all and there's lots of confusing settings...
Obviously the best one would be DLSS but my GPU can't do that so I'd like to know which antialiasing setting produces less artifacting at 720p
MSAA would also be great but it's not feasible to run XD

So that leaves us with
• TSR
• FSR
• FXAA
• TAA

PS. Do any of them use a lot of VRAM?

FSR

FXAA applies vaseline to the entire screen at nearly no performance cost. If there's no sharpening filter to compensate for the blur, avoid it.
 
If you are running something old and have the power to spare, MSAA [multi-sampling AA] will be fairly crisp. It's rarely an option in new games though.
 
I'm sorry but FSR creates this horrible, bizarre ghost effect that trails after anything that moves

thats weird, ill go with Mopeybloke and use MSAA if its an option, TSR isnt bad either, but i heard it takes some fps
 
Actually I think I need to answer your question. Essentially most current gen and previous gen games are made with TAA primarily and sometimes disabling it will cause some other graphical issues.

TAA gets rid of edges and helps render some other effects better, but it does make the image softer/blurrier than some other traditional AA solutions like SSAA and MSAA. I suggest picking it over the other options you've listed.

That's a proprietary version of TAA from the Unreal Engine. I hadn't heard of it, but it's probably a good option too.
I suggest skipping FXAA and FSR for others when you can.
