Where do you emulate games most of the time?

Mobile because it's more comfy for bed rotting and gaming. The only negative point I'd say is the limitation of what you can emulate given that the ps2 emulator isn't very optimized on android, but personally I don't care, I'm on this site to play vintage games, so Dreamcast and the consoles before it.

Most of the time on my PC,
Tho I also have a CFW 3DS that I use for handheld/portable emulation
Currently emulating SMT 1 on the Snes9x 3DS port

Consoles tend to be locked down, so unless you want to pay outrageous prices for 30 yearold games to rent on Switch i don't see the point.

Phones are just too damn small... let's try that again.... too damn small, and i don't want to be thumbing the screen on virtual controls. Same for tablets. Just not worth it.

PC is the most open platform to work with, grab a mini PC or old hardware put on Lakka or Batocera and emulate your favorite titles, plug in a retro controller on the big screen and pretend it's a PS2.

My computer's over 10 years old and has an integrated graphics card so my phone usually because it's more powerful it's also more convenient.
that the ps2 emulator isn't very optimized on android,
What's wrong with NetherSX2? I run everything at at least 2x resolution and I've only had a little bit of slowdown in Soul Caliber 3 on stages with sunlight and with games that are emulating the Neogeo.

Why do people always say this like every controller that works on a PC doesn't work on an android phone? You don't have to use a touch screen to play games on a phone. Pretty much every controller that works on a PC will work on a phone.

Most of the time I just emulate what I can on console since I find it just better to have a more authentic experience. Also because my PC isn't built to handle stuff like a gaming PC lmao.

I emulate on PC and console, I have a jailbroken Nintendo Switch I`m playing games on like Suikoden.
I have download Citra a 3DS emulator and I`m playing Detective Pikachu on it without any problems

PCs are the best place to emulate due to the bigger storage they have on default, whereas phones fill up quick god forbid you play gachas, use the notes app, take pictures or watch YouTube. Console would probably be a good alternative if portable though.

Mostly the Steam Deck OLED I own these days, RetroArch has been pretty reliable for me on there

Mostly Steam Deck but also have certain systems on my 12" Tablet and Fold 3 for when out and about. I have a capable Laptop but never get chance to sit and play on it with a 13 month running around the house

On a 386, planing to upgrade 486, maybe a Tandy 1000.
I was also thinking on a Collossus, but breaking and entering in a museum is not my thing.

100% of emulating I've done is on my School Chromebook. I'm too lazy to organize my games on my personal computer because it'll just be hidden junk in my storage. So I just feed my School Chromebook a chunk of games with no care.

It's PC 90% of the time, but there were those rare times I had to resort to a phone emulator.

I still want to know how the hell did I manage to beat RE Survivor using the touchscreen buttons. ::lol

PC 90% of the time but when I am not in home I use the Ps Vita to play things like GBA or SNES.

Used to only be on the PC. Now I mostly do it on mobile considering how damn often I’m on the go.

It's sort of a tie for me between mobile & PC. I didn't like emulating on mobile until I got one of those controllers that wraps around ur phone, it makes it feel like im playing a (cheap) psp or something similar. between that + Delta/Retroarch being on iOS mobile gaming is pretty comfy now
That said anything above 5th generation PC is totally better for, same goes for oddball consoles that retroarch has trouble with (pc98 mainly)
