I always go back-and-forth between loving this show and hating it.

I really like the art style, the complete reversal of the overall premise (making Carmen a hero instead of the ultimate villain), the voice acting, the continuation of the educational premise through casual, unobtrusive facts and tidbits delivered as Intel for the missions... And many other things, including making Carmen an Argentinean (wooo!).

... But there's so much plot armor going around that the stakes are virtually non-existent despite the spectacular scope that sets them up (seriously, they go wild with these missions, as they should). I really wish Carmen would have gotten her ass kicked at some point or for VILE to get away with more stuff -- the whole "legendary, centuries-old criminal guild" angle gets obliterated when all it takes is a rouge element and three teenagers to dismantle every single one of their plans.

But that's a personal opinion.

Is it a fun show? Absolutely.

Am I glad it exists? Hell yeah! Having younger generations aware of the character can only be a good thing.

Is it perfect? God no! It really stalls (and even threatens to collapse) multiple times throughout its run, specially toward the end... But I think it was a good effort.

What do you think?

How much of it have you watched? From what I hear, they do up the stakes in the later seasons.

I will say I find the twins' Boston accents a bit grating.

I watched the whole thing.

There was a stretch where it looked like it was going to come together, but...

Haven't seem the show, but i do like Argentinians (except in futebol). I prefer a thicker line in cartoons, purely for nostalgia of early 2000 cartoon network. And the electronic intro song is just horrendous IMO. But the writing being fun and funny might already convince me to give it a go. Maybe Netflix is afraid of letting the villains win sometimes because it of it being aimed at kids. Afraid of getting complaints from annoying parents...

Once again, Netflix trying to make a recreation of a classic kids TV series with his ''murikanime'' factor and forget the essence what turned the original series an hit.

The original aways will be a quality of unique writting and educational teachings.

Honestly? I can never seem to figure out where in the world she is.
