I think they’re neat pieces of Nintendo history. Though nowadays, the only reason to buy these today is for novelty and collection purposes. Though, i bet these were considered amazing back when they were first released. They’re definitely infinitely better and more fun than those shitty Tiger LCD Games. My personal favorite G&W games are Zelda, Donkey Kong, Mario’s Cement Factory, and Oil Panic.

Mario’s Cement Factory
I thought Mario is a plumber?? What a plot twist lol.

Well never physically even saw Game & Watch before but their games are actually playable something comparing to this BS:

(not my pic, found on internet)

One day one of the friend of my mother was talking with my mother and then she decided to give this to me. She said "I snatched it from my kid because he was too immersed with it". Honestly I attempted to play the game but it wasn't clear the hell happening. It seemed like a text-based game that you have no text to read but it works via simple visuals show up as still images without animation lol.

I think I still have this rubbish in my home in a box that has lots of junk I didn't bother trashing, but it losts its front cover because no one did anything but that rubbish just dropped. I think Casio shouldn't have tried to compete with Nintendo and should've stick to watches lol. Well Casio had great watches with decent games but that's another story at this point.

my experience with these games is through Game and Watch Gallery on Game Boy. Octopus was my favorite. :D

I never held an actual Game and Watch, but I played a few games on my DSi. Donkey Kong Jr. is my favorite and I still play it sometimes. Those games are simple, fun, and timeless. I should really try more of them.

I think Nintendo G&W n Konami LCD [I had Contra n TMNT] were LCD royaLty. I remember meh mvm brought home Double Dragon n Simon's Quest n some batteries at our home at 1 Franklin Rd, Glassboro in South Jerz (the house had work done on it but is stiLL there n looks good n was built in the late 1800's. 4 story building - huge creepy attic, expansive dank ceLLar lol) it was sweet of her to buy me those on a whim but I felt like I was playin Atari 2600 but with a lot less charm. I stiLL have them as reLics in the storage place I'm stiLL clearing out aLong with the 2 Konami ones. played G&W same as a couple of ya - on portable compiLations. never tried one in aLL these years... hate Nintendo as a company but love a lot of their stuff classic, mid, modern.... yah mon !!^_^!!

They are cool but most of them are reaaaaaaaly simple. Something like the Donkey Kong, Zelda and the two player boxing one does more with the limitations at hand but I still think there could've been even more complex ones, if that idea wasn't pretty absurd.

Simple and perfect.

Even if they're rudimentary I'd take simplicity over handhelds trying too much at once.

Still surprising they haven't made this but for the Switch Online
