As for games with this type of scifi horror spin, I can think of R-Type, Baraduke, and Lifeforce. As for more horror stuff, Splatterhouse is a pretty obvious one. Night Slashers is also a pretty good one, that one's got more of a slasher B-movie vibe, but it's still good looking for a DECO game.
