There are a ton of different Spider-Man games on a wide variety of systems, and insomniac gets a lot of love for their iteration of the web-head, but whats your personal favorite Spidey game? i personally have a big soft spot for shatterd dimensions.

The one where J Jonah Jameson and Carnage are in a romantic relationship.

Well, I think it's pretty obvious, no? But aside from Spider-man on PS1, I love Spider-man 2 on PS2 as well. Ultimate Spider-man and Web of Shadows also feel quite underrated, not many people talk about them compared to the others but they have a lot of interesting and cool stuff going for them

Spiderman: The Movie for GBA (2002), I played that game to exhaustion. I even recall losing it, and then my mom found it in one of my jeans after doing the laundry. Yes, it survived laundry day. Of course, the current ones are awesome, but this one has a special place in my memories.

Ultimate Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man. Treyarch's third outing and Insomniac's first are two of a kind with great stories, former of which is even written by no less than Brian Bendis himself.

Treyarch's Spider-Man 2 and Neversoft's Spider-man are definitely second place.

Spider-Man for the PS1 takes my vote for the best superhero game ever made (or at least it was until Batman Arkham Asylum dropped 9 years later).
Love the missions, the enemies, the combat, the web-swinging, the collectables, the mini-games, but most of all, the voice acting. Holy sheeeeeit that game has some LEGENDARY voice acting, with particular acclaim for Daran Norris, who voices a half dozen characters, including Venom and Mysterio, and the deliveries could not sound further apart. Seriously.

This game's rad as hell. The playable Venom parts were seriously cool and unexpected, and I believe all the cutscenes were handled like comic strips. Amazing way to handle presentation.

The GBA port is pretty overlooked. I recommend you to give a look if you didn't played it.

It might not be the best one for everyone, but for me, at least, the most unique and exciting title was the Spider-Man arcade game. First, because it was a beat-'em-up packed with Marvel characters featuring that classic 80s and 90s art style; and second, because I discovered it in arcades before later finding it on emulators. A classic!

Spider-Man vs The Kingpin on MegaDrive, even though the devs trolled you hard.

Back here in Brazil, we had magazines featuring the game , both versions actually came out in '91, but like many others, I didn't own a home console; if I could have chosen, I definitely would have picked a SNES. So, we used to crowd around arcade cabinets in dive bars the kind of places I wouldn't recommend to anyone today.

I love most of spiderman games that I've played, but my absolute favorite is shattered dimensions.

I have a fondness for the first Spider-Man game I ever played.

The PS1 game. I was hoping it would be the template for a number of quality superhero games.
