For me, It’s the PS2 Eyetoy and Game Boy Advance Video. The Eyetoy is such a cool device that was ahead of its time. It’s like the Xbox Kinect, but done right. The Game Boy Advance Video is like one of those “So bad, it’s good” kind of things. I can’t help but be a little impressed on how they managed to get movies and tv episodes running on a gba (poorly though). There’s a certain charm to seeing a tv episode/movie having shit audio and video quality.

not oscure at all but i really do like the wii fit asdhhadshads i legit took yoga serious with that thing <3

in term of official obscure stuff... probably the PSX LCD because my cousin had it and it was the coolest shit ever <3

I liked the 3DS Circle Pad Pro. Worked for better than the Nu 3DS C-nipple for games that supported that, too.

Also, the Eyetoy completely falling from public consciousness between its release and the Kinect was so funny. People just completely forgot about the mediocre little thing.

The Sega Activator is great because it advertises the exact opposite of what would happen in reality. Throwing a side kick is not faster nor more efficient than pressing a button.

Eyetoy is a certified banger, I had this ps2 eyetoy disney game that was insanely fun. I loved the pokewalker that came with my copy of Soul Silver back in the day. Getting to walk my Pokemon around in my pocket while I was at school was pretty sick, if I'm remembering right you could even catch pokemon and add them back into the actual DS game? Pretty cool stuff, basically a super analogue prototype for Pokemon Go

For me it would have to be the PS1 RPG glove it was pretty cool having all your you know top buttons on your middle finger and face on your index. But that's not all it could program button sequences into it to almost automate battles and movement was handled with a turn of your wrist which at the time I had never seen anything like it it was just the ultimate and luxury and laziness lol but it was goodness for me.

This is the N64's controller Bio Sensor, you can use it to measure your heart hate when playing Tetris N64! It's an accessibly option for those who get nervous during gameplay. JUST KIDDING LMAO, the more nervous you get the faster the pieces fall!

I wanted an eyetoy so bad. Then I got a wii and realized motion controls are just complete ass.

mike tyson hates sony because he was led to believe they would be releasing an eartoy

The wonderswan handy sonar, the wonderborg, the turntable controller for the wonderswan bemani version, ... Actually anything wonderswan, this console has just the coolest and weirdest accessories. And the huge four button controller for the kidstation ps1 series!

I totally forgot about this one! I should still have it somewhere, but I remember I didn't really manage to play any game correctly with it...

Obscure accessories...now I recall seeing the Gameboy sewing machines in a videogame store and thinking if they were selling other electronics. I wish I had a phone to take a picture back then, but they look like this:

The Jaguar ones are the japanese ones, the blue one seems to be released in western markets, but never seen it. The japanese machines can do embroidery because they come with an accessory for that, but the western one can't. Even with obscure accessories, western markets get the worst edition lol.

And for the Sega fans like me, my favourite "accessory":

I love GBA cartridges. I didn't know they included movies or cartoons!!

I know is not an obscure brand but back then in 2013-2014, I really liked all the Hori accesories for the PSVita. Since the Vita was pretty much dead in the West I had to import my games and other stuff from Asia (I used playasia.com)
My favorites were these Char Aznable themed accesories

While I have not owned these two personally, I felt that they're too cool not to share:

The Game Boy Pocket Sonar was an accessory to help locate fish underwater. It was only released in Japan as far as I'm aware.

Additionally, the Boom Box Boy, which was used to listen to FM radio stations while playing a game on the GBC. No batteries were required.
