For me, in terms of books, this cover of Out By Kirino is my favorite.

There is also this cover of Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell that I like a lot for some reason.

And also this cover of Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett is just amazing to look at

In terms of magazines, I like this cover from Playboy with Darine Stern

and also this monthly halloween shoujo magazine cover

I love Hammer's Slammers, i'd say this cover really encompasses the series.

This one is the best cover for Rama, cause it actually gives a tease of the cool stuff.

I don't know if you are aware of the vintage japanese classic cover of wind up, but that's the cover of the book i own and it is beautiful as well.
