So... I'm still sick, and it evolved into a fever.
I'm on my computer rn with a blanket over my shoulders when I should be in bed, but that won't stop me from asking burning questions for RGT!

What is the game(s) that you play when sick that help you get better? Or at least, give you and emotial pick me up?
Mine has always been Monster Hunter, for some reason slaying a few monsters always gave me a pep in my step when sick.

For me it's usually Pokémon.
The last few springs when I get my annual ultra cold, I've played through a Pokémon game and it's always been very comfy and relaxing.

Get well soon!

So first get well soon comrade.

Second I don't know I don't stick to a certain game when I get sick I usually avoid playing games cuz I can't play them well if im sick so I stick to YouTube.

Anything I'm already super familiar with, but I usually like to play NES or SNES games when I'm under the weather. Punch Out, Castlevania 1, Ninja Gaiden 1, MegaMan X, stuff like that. I don't wanna worry about anything too mechanically complex when I'm out of it.

usually some typical eroge or galge is good. not a lot of heavy reading its a one handed interaction and you can play them in any comfortable position. also the content is usually "healing"

Well, any game I've been meaning to play is good for being sick. When I'm feeling down though, it's a run on SMB3. I played through it on a bad day as a kid, and it's just been a thing for me ever since.

A lot of RPG in handheld consoles like: Persona or The legend of heroes Trails games, because they make you follow instructions so I feel that I am heading somewhere or doing something with those games.

If I'm sick to the point that I'm bedridden, I'm either laying in silence and hoping to sleep, or laying with some YT playlist playing with the volume low and hoping to sleep.

I really liked playing Dragon Quest IX when I was younger anytime I was sick. Even now, when I'm down I play it despite already beating the game and the majority of the endgame content.

We have an XBOX360 that I occasionally hook up when I'm really sick. I play Oblivion. Any of my comfort games are a good pick, though. Zelda OOT or Majora's Mask, Starfox Adventures...

Anything that's low effort is best: visual novels, turn-based games, card games (traditional, not trading), board games, and so on.

Though really, I recommend sleep, herbal tea, a bathrobe (for when you need to get up), tissues, þ★☆n̈, and a dark bedroom. That is, just focus on staying comfortable.

Yume Nikki is the perfect game to play while sick for me, it's very slow and easy to play and it's just really cozy most of the time

I have a 3DS and a Switch, which I keep stored in my nightstand, just in case i do get sick or if the power goes out. I also have a few games I've been purposely saving specifically for these kinds of situations. For the 3DS i have Zelda: Link Between Worlds, the 3 Castlevanias for DS, Metroid 2, Luigi's Mansion 2, and Bowser's Inside Story 3DS remake. For the Switch... More games than i can even list. Including Shin-chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation, and Zelda ToTK, seem like good 'sick' games.

There's also my laptop, which is always set up next to the bed, good enough for video and plenty of older games. I don't like to stay still for too long, so besides all this, i have another laptop i keep in the car. On one of those laptop mounts, like the cop cars have, they swivel and adjust however you want. I can go out somewhere and relax that way too.

I use a similar laptop mount next to my bed, i highly recommend this to anyone. So convenient.

Probably not the most helpful, but I mostly just do mobile games when I'm sick, which is extremely rare for me in the first place.

I specifically remember a time where I drank something alcoholic too fast and ended up just laying down on the sofa and playing a bit of Fate/GO because that was kind of all I felt like doing at the time.
