Plus since they had a character named Wendy, when the Japanese made Wendi they designed her as American fast food, with the name to batch because of well, Wendy's. But since there was already a character with that name, they changed it to Frita, kind of ruining the charm of a fast food looking sheep named Wendi however, All it does it take away a pun, Frita is still Wendi at the end of the day.
