For some folks FMA could be the worst because it doesnt stay trued and thats what they wanted. One could argue the worst thing you could do is be unfaithful to the source material. (Lowkey I have known some who say 1st run FMA was absolute trash because of that)

Its all a matter of taste and opinion. Its like an asshole, everyone got one and they aint worth much.

Better question would have been "What are some bad anime yall have seen? Whether its a rush job, bad animation, cheaped out dubs, animation errors, thats some of the absolute most egregious the medium has to offer in any regard?"


I could consider the 2025 current moeslop as the worst as its just panding to make sales to otaku ect ect. But honestly I dont watch a serious if its going garbage. So the worst anime I watched?

Well out of what I have in memory, Jormungand. 2 seasons of absolute good shit all to be absolute shoved to the side for forced lesbian and shotacon scenes.

However despite it being the worst Ive seen for how it fumbles the bag, Its still an absolute top tier anime.

Thats why I think worst is a bit of a double edge word to use.

I can't stand Naruto, One Piece, Bleach or Dragon Ball for instance, but such an absolute word as "worst" is difficult to see in anything. Being very young usually creates absolute feelings as "the worst" or "the best", but when grown up, those feelings blur in prior to other non-radical thoughts.

Bible Black. The bad dub was going around as a meme. It was just horrible. Like the whole thing was bad. But the voices were the icing on the cake.

Sonic himself gets his spotlight stolen by a Sora bootleg. It’s also pretty unfaithful to the series in some areas. Also hot take but, the English Dub really sucks. Thanks to the destroyer of anime, 4Kids. Mainly because of the censorship. Also the main cast got flanderized badly.

I could mention one with bad story overall, with crappy animation, but, for me, "The worst" isn't that simple. An anime that is bad from the beginning doesn't hurt as much as one that have an interesting concept, or that aim for something good but falls awfully bad.

Darwin's game... Oh boy, the concept was so interesting that it even convinced me to forgive the awfully broken power of the protag, but I automatically dropped it in the bed scene of the... Second, third episode? Dunno if it was because the scene was stupid free exaggerated fanservice, or because of how she loses to a guy that recently discovered his power, which ofc, will probably determine how the laters fight would be. I'm not prude, I watched series with that type of content (or even more intimate) like Evangelion and Code Geass, but In these, they are used with a porpuse. In Darwin's game, is obviously cheap fanservice...

Banished From The Hero's Party, I Decided To Live A Quiet Life In The Countryside Season 2. First season was kind of nice but seaons to ending just pure bullshit.

The whole sword art online series. The anime started out promesing but was turned on to a harem anime with main charters with an IQ of negative 20.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners just the ending was bad I mean I don´t want a happy ending but how it ended was just pure stupid which made me rate the anime 1/10 becuse it pissed me off.

The Rising of the Shield Hero I rely hate stupid main charters. Dude is treated like trash from the royal family and when they are going to be punished MC punishment is allow him to call the m bitch. Your almost killed by them and you just wanna call them bitch

Taboo Tattoo honestly it was just boring and dull.

Full Dive: The Ultimate Next-Gen Full Dive RPG Is Even Shittier than Real Life! It was just pure ass.

The Daily Life of the Immortal King boring as all hell and cringe in a bad way.

Shironeko Project ZERO CHRONICLE just purely bored me and often made not much sense.

The Master of Ragnarok & Blesser of Einherjar this one just utterly cringe and I mean pure cringe that´s not even the good kind of cringe

eminence in shadow so damn cringe I could noot finish it honestly 3 episodes in and im like fuck not im going to cringe to death.
