I tried the demake and, controversial opinion ahead, I didn't think it was the masterpiece that many are chalking it out to be. While I do like some of the new levels, I think it goes overboard on overcorrecting the original game's "issues" and having less features like no playable Zero or Axel from the get-go (I know there are mods but I don't think that should have been necessary in the first place), not to mention the demake only has one save slot when the original game gave you at least five. Some of the bosses can be a cheap pain in the ass to deal with and feel like they were designed for speedrunning. [/QUOTE]
