What is your "White Whale" Game?

The Metal Gear Solid series. I remember seeing a cutscene at a friend's house and was blown away by the voice acting and how cinematic it was (it was the 90s and I was 11). I bought the full collection for PS3 many years ago and yet I still haven't gotten to playing a single game yet

over the past decades I've been catching up on games I 'really wanted to play as a kid teenager' on systems I haven't owned back in the day for example NEO•GEO AES, Sega Genesis, TurboGrafx-16, 3DO. The last library of exclusive games I want to finally get around to play are on Xbox (2001), especially SEGA published games.
