What is your First Video Game Based on a Movie?/Cuál es tu Primer Videojuego Basado de una Película?

Can't remember, but anything Disney-related for the SNES/N64 cus those were the systems available when I was a child (either mine or owned by other kids in my family, at the time)... btw, this is one of the best threads you've done Nelson! GGs and thanks!
Thank you very much and You're welcome 👍🏻.

Peter Jackson's King Kong on the PS2! It is by far the best game based on a movie I have ever played. They nailed everything, especially Kong's brutal sections where you decimate anything and anyone that comes your way. Brilliant.

I'll give this game a chance someday but in some versions like PS2, GC and PSP that they are good versions of the game (except for the DS version which is an ugly and lousy version) and also that the GBA version is different but not in a good way and the PC version although it looks quite similar to the Home Consoles versions has a secret virus that can damage your PC over time.

If I'm being honest it was probably something I played for like 2 minutes at a friends house in the Mega drive era.

The first one I remember distinctly is probably Star Wars Episode 1 on PS1. Kind of a mid game but definitely more playable than a lot of trash movie tie-ins.

That said the fucking dialogue/ character models are hilarious as well so plenty of good shit to see here. Just absolutely terrible in the combat department.

I haven't played Star Wars Episode I on PS1 but the game doesn't look bad for a game based on the First Prequel to Star Wars.

Well, I've played the Peter Jackson's King Kong Game: The Official Game of the Movie (2005) on PSP and it looks good considering the limitations of the range of buttons that the PSP has, but it's playable if you get used to the controls for a first-person shooter game, although someday I'll give the PS2 and GC versions a try to see what it is.

And even The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King Game also featured a GBA version that is completely different from the Console versions because of its perspective that is Top-Down Beat 'em Up with RPG Elements so it's an ARPG and also the story that is different depending on the character you choose throughout the adventure and has more RPG elements like the Equipment System, Skill Upgrade, Attribute Upgrade Point, etc. and also has a Nintendo GameCube connection to transfer the Experience Points acquired according to the character, etc.
