Just discovered Wolf Alice (I've heard the name before but never got a chance to listen to them) and their latest album 'The Clearing' is great. Idk if they are my favorite band but they are a good reminder that people still make music like they used to, with great musicianship. New Deftones album been also good, even though a bit safe and I expected something more experimental like their previous one 'Ohms'. Oh and also Youtube did a good thing for once and recommended me Ninajirachi's new album 'I Love My Computer' which is a nice throwback to classic EDM, but with a good chunk of that chronically online millenial girl energy which I like.
I don't think I have a favorite band per se, but lately I've mostly been listening to Death Grips, Rush, Tool, 八十八ヶ所巡礼 , King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and KNOWER.
Juice! Nu metal band straight outta '98. Not much info is known about them but they sound a heck of a lot like KoRn. In fact, 2 of the members from this band were in Jon Davis' previous group Sex Art. They hail from Bakersfield, CA too!
