An elegant weapon for the refined government agent. The weapons so good I almost have to stop myself from using it every playthrough.I have a pretty heavy lean towards pistols in shooters, and for Resident Evil in particular I've always been partial to Resident Evil 4's Red 9.

I've actually had that issue a few times. ^^; I've replayed RE4 so many times it makes me feel the need to mix it up a lot, but... it's really hard not to just go with Red 9.An elegant weapon for the refined government agent. Everytime I'm like "okay, I'll use the Punisher this time, it's a great pistol" then I see the Red9 in the shop for the first time and buy it without even realising it. It's a vicious cycle.I've actually had that issue a few times. ^^; I've replayed RE4 so many times it makes me feel the need to mix it up a lot, but... it's really hard not to just go with Red 9.
But oh, such a rewarding one. I often fail to avoid the Red 9 on a playthrough, but I never regret it.Everytime I'm like "okay, I'll use the Punisher this time, it's a great pistol" then I see the Red9 in the shop for the first time and buy it without even realising it. It's a vicious cycle.
I'm team Killer7 personally, but the Butterfly is so sick just for the reload animation alone.Broken Butterfly
"Don't worry, I have this."I think Barry's 44 deserve a shout, that thing have that magnum power

This is a huge problem with me as well. It even extends to watching other people play the game. x) All I can think is "No, stop spending money on the (handgun)! You're gonna get the Red9 soon!"I've actually had that issue a few times. ^^; I've replayed RE4 so many times it makes me feel the need to mix it up a lot, but... it's really hard not to just go with Red 9.
...Yeeeeah, I'm a sucker for the rifle too. The moment you get your hands on that thing and are immediately presented with, effectively, a shooting gallery of enemies... how can you not? This is a huge problem with me as well. As for myself, no I didn't just spend a lot of time looking at every single gun in the series, why would you say that? But after literally doing just that, I'll have to say the Rifle (Springfield M1903A4) from RE4. It's not the best sniper rifle in the series, but it's my favorite. I have a weakness for old bolt action rifles, having owned and shot quite a few of them. It's no slouch in RE4 either. When fully upgraded it does almost as much damage as a magnum and it's best feature is it's reload animation. Hnnnghhh stripper clip, bolt sliding forward. It gives me life.
