how big can zip, 7zip, pdf, jpg, and pngs be?

Solution
I don't know for us specifically, but XenForo in general seems to default it at 2MB (or so I read... in an ancient support post that probably doesn't even apply anymore).
it's looking like 2mb is the limit. i just tried some tests. anything over that is "too large".
kind of sucks, since i wanted to share some images of the nintendo power comics with everyone here. one of them is straight up a comic with the full strategy guide mixed in with it.
on the bright side, i can probably share some prototype versions of a ff1 hack that i'm working on.
i meant for this site. i wanted to attach a zip file to a thread but the site told me it was too big. i kept making the file smaller until it got to like 5 mb before it was small enough.
Oh, my bad.

I feel stupid now.

I think it shouldn't be over 10 MBs.

that's okay. i should have specified that i was talking about the forum part of the site. i'll check and see if a 10mb zip will be accepted.

i did some testing. 2mb or less is the max size for zip files.

Interesting... it's supposed to be modifiable, though. I'll let Spike know.

okay. if he can't do anything about, then i'll just leave some stash links from DeviantArt and someone else can grab them and put them up on a more easier to use site or something for others to view.

I see, I was having issues with image attachments not loading at all after posting
All images i had issues were 5mb or more
yeah. the drawings that i've uploaded so far were under 2mb. are you uploading jpgs or pngs?

Just checked and they were 8000x6000 lol
I had my phone in 48mp mode
that's a bit big. it'd be a fine size for deviantart or newgrounds. you should be able to scale those down a bit or host them on another site and leave a link here. i'm thinking that is what i might do.
