What is the best version of Rayman 2 the great escape?

I was rolling my wheel of ps1 games on wheelofnames.com because i wanted to play my next game after i defeated nitrus oxide in CTR (crash team racing) and at first it rolled rockman 3 (ps1 version) but i wanted to play something else and the second time i rolled my wheel the result was Rayman 2 the great escape and i wanted to know if these versions of rayman 2 are good or bad.

Nintendo 64 is fine although the Dreamcast and PC versions are better but I vote for both versions of both the N64 and DC.

Hey a question that seems designed for me!!

Dreamcast is considered the definitive version but personally I've always preferred the PS2 version: Rayman Revolution. It has a hub world that ties all the levels together and makes it feel like a huge, cohesive world.

The GOG version, installed through Lutris on Steam Deck, runs so smoothly!
But yes, Dreamcast of course

I think it's convenient to have the DRM free GoG version with patches.

PC imo, looks the prettiest, sounds the prettiest, and runs the best. Though I haven't played the Dreamcast version so I don't really know what's unique about it other than a world map I like less tha the Hall of Doors.
Revolution is a close second but the added stuff can be kinda hit-or-miss.

I'm also kind of fond of the N64 version just because it's the one I encountered first.

i didnt put the pc version because i dont know if this game will run on linux, when i get a new pc i will change from windows 10 to linux mint very soon, not now but very soon.

So it's already decided, im going to play the sega dreamcast version of rayman 2 until the end.
