Metroid and Castlevania have an interesting hacks/patches like Metroid ZM: Desolation, Castlevania Aria of Sorrow: Reprise and other Recolor ones. It's an incredible experience
I don't know if it's possible but I've always wanted to see Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker with 30 or 60 fps with HD texture patches like the collection or legacy (if it's possible of course)
And yes I could've just used the cheats, but unfortunately I encounter more problems like higher recoil, glitches, stuttering cutscenes, health draining faster, etc.
It would be really cool to see it getting fixed

Nice question. Probably Phantasy Star series on PSP. They are pretty good games but honestly they would be even better with community patches.
That's true, it is better if it's from it's fans after all

For me it would be the versions Redux or Improvement and Restoration for various games that serve as a second chance to be able to replay those games especially in having a more polished and refined gameplay, restore deleted content, improve the learning curve, and more.

I'd probably say games I enjoyed at one time that either dropped support or closed down entirely myself rather than older full releases. Games like Marvel Heroes Omega, Heroes of the Storm, Starcraft 2, stuff like that.

I want to play MSU-1 Pokemon Yellow Version with all the music from the original 4Kids dub of the Indigo League anime. That includes the Team Rocket theme every time Jessie and James show up. I played a MSU-1 of Pokemon Yellow before, but it only had some of the music from the anime and the rest was either all arrangements or just the music from Let's GO. The Team Rocket theme was missing too, it was completely silent. Major oversight. It'd be even cooler in full color like Pokemon Red and Blue Full Color hacks and playable in full color on Super Game Boy through BSNES. I know i'm asking for a lot here, but it'd be sweet to play through it like an RPG version of the anime with the same OST from the anime.

A good Blaster Master hack would be neat. There's a few out there but they're not that great. Even just a patch that added unlimited continues and a save feature would be nice. That's one thing that game desperately needed.

Fullmetal Alchemist: To The Promised day PSP

Especially since Fullmetal unfortunately doesn't have many games, and the vast majority are in only Japan 😭
