What games will you buy this Christmas?

Whatever platform or site you buy your favorite games from, what will you get this Christmas?

Seeing the Steam offers, I'll get South Park - The Stick of Truth (played both on 360 at the time of release, and on PS4, and now also on PC) and I'm undecided whether to get UNO, Batman Arkham Origins or The Forest.

Looking over the Steam winter sale that just kicked off, and assuming I just magically find money I didn't have a minute ago, I'm thinking Skald: Against the Black Priory, The Rise of the Golden Idol, or Romancing SaGa 2.

I'm also seeing a lot of people I trust say that the new Indiana Jones game is good!?...it's just....I, I never dared to dream that big.

I bought Hogwarts Legacy on the Nintendo Switch's eshop since it was about $14.00 & I've been wanting to play it since I'm a Harry Potter fan.

Yes, do this — the first one is completely different from all the others, but it’s my personal favourite and well-worth starting with. (Though every game except 3 is good.) It’s a completely unique series of… I’d guess you call them RTS games? But don’t look up anything about them before you get into it — just know that they’re some of the best, most diabolical Playstation games ever made.

MH Wilds. It's not out and I never pre-ordered anything in my life (nor I intend to make it a habit), but Monster Hunter is a different beast. That said, Capcom needs to start releasing the classics on Steam, as anything before 5th gen is locked to consoles, portables or both, and that's unacceptable.

Prior to Fantasian my last purchase was Ys X: Nordics. Funny stuff, now that Proud Nordics has been announced.

This, GFL2 Exilium coming out was quite a godsend. It's got nice gameplay, good art style and my favourite Raifu Alfa being on standard gacha, and WA2000 is coming soon, as well.

I've been pleasantly surprised by the reviews as well! Started digging after to discover it shares some team with the Wolfenstein remake series, and Escape from Butcher Bay. I loved those games, so I'm officially interested and waiting for a sale.

No games for me this Christmas besides the errant VN or two, but I do think I'm getting my brother either Silent Hill 2's Remake or Elden Ring. SH2 Remake was one of the few games I bought new this year, and hoo boy what a ride.
