Obviously I understand they want a broad audience because that's what brings in revenue but Crowbcats video of RE4, I think is an honest summary. It's what happens with most remasters, they change lighting, textures, sound affects, voice lines, character models, even voice actors and then act surprised when it's tonally so different from the original or loses it's edge, and fans will obviously point it out. It was all meant to convey something and they just bastardized it in more ways than one. The second is God of War, I tried the newest ones over my friends house. Matthewmatosis' video is the perfect summary of that, just awful, awful. It's a movie pretending to be a game, a walking simulator and while I know GoW was originally 'cinematic' for it's time this was a very different game. And to no surprise one of the main devs behind it is a raging narcissist that regularly embarrasses himself. And the third one has to be the DeS remake. King Allant sounds like he's in a cubicle toilet next to mine talking to me during that boss fight, then there's the art direction, world tendency removal, or one of their artists having a spat with the internet because he tried to turn Flamelurker in to Diablo.
