So a while back, i posted a thread for people recommending fighting games on the PS1, and now that I am in dreamcast emulation, I want YOU ALL to recommend me fighting games that are actually good.
Let the recommendations begin!

The better question is which one SHOULDN’T you get on Dreamcast, because nearly every fighter on the platform is quality.

(But Capcom anything is something to aim for, as well as Virtua Fighter 3 and Dead or Alive 2)

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATIONS!

Project Justice: the sequel to Rival Schools: United by Fate, this game is absolute perfection, if you like Capcom's fighting games so this one is pretty much required! Really fun 3v3 fighting game with a great cast of characters, great music, really pretty graphics and a very interesting story mode. I love this game and I highly recommend it.

Fighting Vipers 2: sequel to Fighting Vipers, and it's just as good as the first game, if you like Virtua Fighter than this one is just as great \o\

Tech Romancer: spiritual successor to Cyberbots, this game is a odd mix of several giant robots based on different categories of mecha anime (Super Robots, Real Robots, Magical Girl, Ultraman), and I love it. The story mode is REALLY in-depth as well, with a lot of different routes for the characters, the game is really fun in general, and you can even unlock Jin Saotome from Cyberbots as well!

Street Fighter Alpha 3: come on. It's Street Fighter Alpha 3. You know you want more Alpha 3 :V

The Dreamcast has a LOT of great fighting games, this is just the tip of the iceberg xD

I liked: Soulcalibur, Capcom VS SNK, The Rumble Fish (1 and 2), Dead or Alive 2, Marvel VS Capcom 2, Project Justice, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Power Stone (1 and 2), Virtua Fighter 3 TB, Plasma Sword and Fighting Vipers 2.

I hope this helped.

Yeah, most ppl already have the big ones covered

Soul Calibur
Dead or Alive 2
Marvel 1&2
Project Justice
VF3 tb
Power stone 1&2
Fighting Vipers 2
3S
CvS2
Last Blade 2
JoJos Bizarre adventure
Psychic Force 2012
KoF 2000~2002
Garou: mark of the wolves

SF alpha 3 too, but I don't count that one simply because I think the Saturn version is superior

The answer to your question is "yes".
As in "all of them".

All of them. I mean, did Dreamcast even have bad fighting games?

Tech Romancer. Still mad it wasn't included in that new collection they just released with some of their 3d fighters.

There’s no such thing as a bad fighting game for the Dreamcast which means all of them are worth playing.

I don't know much about fighters on the Dreamcast, except that 2nd Impact has widescreen support there and it looks gorgeous. On the other hand, Hugo is even worse, if that matters lol

Street Fighter III 3rd Strike
Capcom vs SNK 2

I got these for Dreamcast because they emulate so nicely 👌

Unlike trying to emulate PS2 on android 😅
