I have been thinking about what made the movies of the past so grate, vs the mostly mid stuff of today.

The first thing that comes to mind is goons, every bad guy had some soldiers loyal to the course.

So name the movie that had your favorite goons!

The two movies with the best goons were Robocop and Die Hard. Both sets of goons had character and life to them that more recent movies don't even bother to match. I guess Hollywood action directors have gotten lazier over time to the point that goons no longer get the love they deserve.

Goon but not forgotten 🎬

The James Bond series is just full of great goons. Oddjob, Tee-Hee and Baron Samedi, Doctor Kaufman, Xenia Onatopp, Jaws, and that's just off the top of my head. There are plenty others who I can't remember the name of who are fantastic sidekicks for the baddies.

You know the movie is going to be fun if the main villain has a short and chubby goon and a tall and skinny goon that always argue on what their boss wanted them to do.
And they say things like, "Nice one bwas!" in a nasal high pitched voice when the bad guy makes a pun at the hero.

Judge Doom's henchmen weasels were some of my favourite goons

They were cool in Mickey's Wild Adventure and the Prince and the Pauper animation, too.
