Night of the Living Dead is public domain

Dawn of the Dead lacks home media release in the states because one of the producer's I read but youtube it up.

I never saw Day of the Dead. Land of the Dead is cool but not nearly as good as the predecessors.

The 90s remake of Night is alright but Zack Snyder's remake of the Dawn of the Dead is better as a remake because it differentiates itself from the source more.

Dead Rising was almost a perfect dawn of the dead game
If they didnt make the reason for the zombies bugs. Still fun game

The Walking Dead has one of the best television pilots I have seen. The rest of the show is all over the place in quality though.

TellTale did a fantastic job with Walking Dead season one. (Not technically a tv show but essentially played like an interactive one)

Zombie Land is fun zombie comedy but not as good as Shaun of the Dead.

Trying to think of some other zombie media.

I Do love all of the old Of the Dead movies, i make it a point to watch the OG NOTLD Each Christmas
<yes it's My Christmas movie, i don't care who says what XD>

I've always thought zombie movies were dumb because all of them rely on the characters doing incredibly unrealistic and stupid things to be scary. Even moreso than most horror movies. Like, why don't they just leave the city or town? No zombies where there's no people. Especially the movies set in America. Like just go get some guns and leave town and just go to one of the massive empty places that exists in America. Like don't just barricade yourself inside the zombie infested city waiting for them to eat you. That's dumb.

The novel version of world War z is my favorite zombie story. It's such a realistic and mundane version of a zombie apocalypse. Something that happens, and humanity just moves on. There is no complete collapse of society. Honestly, it reminds me a lot of Shin Godzilla, even though that came out way later.

Day of the Dead is probably my personal favourite of the Romero movies, that movie is dingy, depressing and bleak in all the best ways. It's like a claustrophobic anxiety attack if you really get into it, and a really well done one at that. It is a little unfortunate as unlike the other Romero remakes, the Day remake is actual garbage; so it goes.

Non-Romero, it's Night of the Living Dead 100%. Tarman still scares the hell out of me.

The remake of Dawn in 2004 is my favorite Zombie movie of all time. Some other good ones I enjoyed were Zombi, Return of the Living Dead, and I'm not sure if it counts, Evil Dead series.

The 1978 Dawn of the Dead is one of the greatest films ever made. Just so much fun!

In hindsight I realized my cousins weren't supposed to have two kids watch this movie in the mid-90s lol
At the same time I was kinda like flustered why they couldn't make a temp alliance of the Bikers ...
Oh well ::cirnoshrug That's just kid me thinking there ~ Haha

This past October I watched One Cut of the Dead. It’s a Japanese indie zombie comedy made in 2017. It might seem a bit corny and that’s because it is, but I loved it. If you can stick it out for the first half

Zombie media is vastly overdone, but there are some really good gems in there, like Shaun Of The Dead and Zombieland.

It's a simple premise that can be twisted easily for a good fun, although if I have to pick a favorite, it would be the OG Day of the Dead and Planet Terror.
I recommend 2018 Overlord, 2021 The Crazies, and Juan of The Dead (Cuban film, might take some searching if you're interested).

I miss old fashioned voodoo zombies. One I'd reccomend even if it is a bit cheesy is till death from tales from the crypt

Gave me a fetish for zombies, love that film.

Braindead is my fav zombie flick, if that counts.

Err... As long as you're not doing anything bad, dangerous nor forbidden I don't really care about what you're into.

But let's not delve too much into that there, shall we?
Ye, don't wanna get banned.

The first season of The Walking Dead was brilliant, but when they ripped the show out of the hands of Frank Darabont (the director) it went to shit. He had such a grand scale idea for that show and it was fantastic, but they wanted to cut his budget even though season 1 was a huge success and he didn't take that laying down. I'll always wonder what could have been.
