Quite shrimple. What's your career? How long have you been working it? Is it enjoyable are you gonna try to stick with it until you can retire or is it a temporary thing?
I've always fantasized about becoming a teacher (and a librarian), but I kind of chickened out when my social anxiety developed, and I probably wouldn't have the patience to deal with parents. But I'm looking to lock down a permanent teaching position soon. Economic insecurity takes its toll on you, particularly when it's not just you who depends on that income.
My immediate thought upon reading this:I occasionally teach Martial Arts(not paid).
I don't teach people hadoukens, although they're learning to throw fireballs and magic missiles. My imm ediate thought upon reading this:

How long have you been in the trucking game? I heard it takes forever to hit a position where you start earning a decent amount but once you do you're making bank.View attachment 79440
Nearly a decade.
Almost ten years. I don't think anyones really making bank in the industry especially not in current times. Even if you own your truck and business unless its paid off the majority of money in goes right back out to buying the truck and maintaining it. It took some time to reach what I am paid, but it takes others longer to reach the same. That being said it took longer for me to find decent when I first started. I have an AMA thread idk if its still visible, but I put some info there about it. I would recommend to anyone willing and it did uplift my life, but the uplifting comes with the penalty of federal prison if you mess up along the way.How long have you been in the trucking game? I heard it takes forever to hit a position where you start earning a decent amount but once you do you're making bank.
