Today I entertain the possibility of maybe if everything goes right finally finish Shin Megami Tensei 1(PSX). That final cathedral is huge

Unfortunately a bit boring.

Been playing Mirror's Edge Catalyst. A bit flawed (but then so was the first game), but am enjoying it nonethless.

Just found out weird west and was really surprised how good it can be at times. Also playing through Fantasian Neo Dimension demo also really good.
fantasian neo is amazing.
i've been playing:
the last remnant
lego marvel superheroes
persona 3 reload
and a TON of marvel rivals

Today I plugged my PS4 back in again, and booted up Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise.

I had sort of forgot that I bought it ages ago on a whim because it was on a big sale for like the first time, and I hadn't played any Yakuza games back then so I was kind of confused to the gameplay. I had my save from 2020 still on the console so I got back into that and rewatched a few cutscenes so that I didn't have to redo the boring tutorial.
I just met Bat and got the car, and I'm really enjoying it so far.

(PS I only just noticed that this thread was un-sticked. Why is that? Similar threads on other subforums are sticked.)

Trucking along in the Xenoblade Chronicles X remaster. I got my skell so the game's opened up more which is good because I think the exploration is its strongest asset. I really wish they brough back them back for the later games. And I'm still pretty pissed they got rid of cosmetic armor because I really hate the character designs in 2 (less so 3, but the option would still be nice)

It's kind of ironic Xenoblade became one of Nintendo's larger franchises in the Switch era given how niche the games feel, even by JRPG standards. (Probably in part due to 2 giving the series a signal boost when everyone else was done playing Mario Odyssey in late 2017). I definitely wouldn't have thought so waiting desperately for 1 to get confirmed back in high school. Personally I'm ready for the franchise to take a rest while Monolith focuses on something new. How about a Xenogears remake... anyone.... hello...? ::peek

Taking a break from Symphonia.
At the Dark Temple...

My 360 doesn't detect wifi signal any more... I could go ethernet but I would much rather hook up the OG Xbox and play one of my games for that.
Never beat KOTR, Jade Empire, X-men Legends, etc.

Original Xbox was made with such cheap parts prone to failure I might unhook my saturn and play it while it lasts. Wish Xbox emulation was better though.

Hung out with some friends today, we ate yakiniku beef bowls and played Mario Party 3. It was super fun and incredibly hectic because the stupid Daisy AI kept doing incredible strats to steal our stars.

was playing Glory Hounds cause I'm on that FVN kick but my phone just completely died so there goes my game............

Today I finished Air Combat/Ace Combat 1, one of the release tittles for the PSX. Simple and short old school fun, just press start and relax😌

I've been trying King's Field IV for a couple of days, pretty neat atmosphere and rewarding exploration, but I just got to that central multi-floor tower part and starting to feel lazy about keeping playing, mostly because the slooooow turning camera ends up exhausting me

XBox ... I still can't believe in 2025 I'd ever play games on it but I've been doing it for over a month now !

Most played so far:

Grand Theft Auto IV

NBA 2K19

Metal Gear Rising Revengence
^it's fun when you play with the cyborg ninja dlc add-on !

Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land
^slow startup when it loads ... but i guess it's because it was meant to be run on current gen consoles

Stray
^it's nice to play as a cat 🐈

I haven't found time for video game entertainment lately, but let's say the last title I'm trying to complete is Ico (PS2), and just before that Astal (SS).

These days I'm playing scarlet nexus
Pretty nice game ngl

Been replaying Demon's Souls on PS3 and working my way through God Hand for the first time, but life's been busy so progress has been slow

I was recently introduced to Blinx: The Time Sweeper thanks to Xbox Cloud Gaming. It's an amazing game! Too bad I only found out about it now ::megadancebaby
