Recently i have been playing the classic Demons Souls on ps3 using the thearchstones dot com, and i have been wondering what other games have private servers?

Please chime in as i would love to hear about some of the classics people are playing online.

The Pretendo guys are slowly restoring online functionality for a lot of 3DS games. Occasionally I play PSO on a private server. I've also dabbled with Monster Hunter Portable 3rd and Resident Evil Outbreak, both of which have their dedicated communities.

Sounds good, do you have any links to the servers? Putting this on my list to try with Mario Kart DS.

I'm really wanting to return to Ragnarok Online just a bit, to really make sure my bitter experience with it was actually just a "me" thing or maybe just a thing in the Brazilian server. But this time in a private server, but there is so many i can't actually decide, if you guys play one and have any recommendation i could check it out.
Also Mario Kart Wii seems to get more and more active and even being updated by the community so i want to check it out with my totally legit nintendo wii

On another note, i think everyone should check old fighting games, almost all the classics(and even some obscure ones) have good netcode implementation and are easier to play than ever. You will probably find plenty of people to play against too. Check out fightcade or steam ports like for Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +R. Also https://play.meltyblood.club/ to play some Melty Blood Actress Again for free with excellent netcode and a nice community.

Also, i'm shilling Quake again, the community is active and awesome, after 4pm there is always games, in the weekends it's every freaking day strafe jumping and bunny hopping. Quake 1, Quake 2, Quake 3, Quake 4, Live, Champions, don't matter, the community is awesome, hop in there

i actually had the craving to return to RO and tried a whole bunch of servers out
although i used to be into High Rate servers before, i wanted to try going back closer to my roots, so i tried out a bunch of mid-rate servers on ratemyserver

i don't play regularly, and it's mostly just to kill time or whenever i have a craving but the one i decided to stick with is MuhRO ?
before that, i tried out Frostheim Chronicles for a bit but i chose MuhRO cos it had a bigger population despite being lower rated
i'm trying to learn to like Renewal cos i only learned very recently that Renewal fucked up a whole bunch of things like exp of monsters getting nerfed big time, while buffing tf out of them making it less rewarding, and don't get me started on the big time nerf of item drop rates holy shit, they actually made it way harder for items to drop than in Pre-Renewal
another wack thing about Renewal is how everything gets trivialised the moment you become 3rd job cos you can literally just spam skills instead of be a right-clicker

it's also so damn overwhelming cos of the amount of new items, mechanics, cards, and skills, and it honestly feels way too convoluted at this point but i guess that's just how classic MMOs are

I started up a new character on .hack//Fragment after talking about it the other day. Efa, the long-arm!

Just trying to actually get through the offline story right now before I actually hop online with her, it's something I never managed to do on my other characters.
