What book would you adapt into a game?

The Geronimo Stilton books has some ripe material for Edutainment point and click adventures, the Kingdom Of Fantasy spin-offs could make a good Level-entry RPG akin to Mystic Quest or Earthbound

For something more local, there is a book called Matias and the Strawberry Cake about a kid that goes in a dreamspace over wanting to eat the titular cake, that could work as a spoof of Little Nightmares
