Fire Red and Leaf Green are wonderful as well. Metroid Zero Mission outright replaces the NES original for me, and the game is a joy to play. Samus has never felt better in 2D, in my opinion. (I haven't played Dread quite yet...) I love Dragon Quest's Erdrick trilogy on both SNES and GBC! I'll mention that all of the console versions of these games are a delight. They look great, and finally there are no load times when changing drive forms! My only criticisms are a lack of some extra toggles, like having the original audio and colors of the Heartless.
