I believe that a big part of happiness is having things to look forward to. Even something small like a favorite show can add a bit of light to a dreary week! It can be a game, but doesn't have to be!

I personally just bought tickets for my Girlfriend and I to see Pink Floyd's Live at Pompeii rebroadcast in theaters, and I couldn't be more excited!!

What's getting you through your week??

I look forward to playing games whenever I can, of course! No matter the system, game, or controller - games will always be around to lift my spirits up. Monster Hunter Rise, Final Fantasy 7, and Ghouls 'N Ghosts have been my most recent (and current) playthroughs, and all of which have been very fun.

Aside from games, I enjoy watching sports with my father, usually on the weekends. Watching sports is his favorite hobby, so I've been watching them alongside him to have something that we can both look forward to on the weekends.

I finally started getting into ESO and I'm super excited to play through all the content. The game is MASSIVE.

Got some games I'm looking forward to a lot. Ninja Gaiden 4, Ragebound, Shinobi, Onimusha 4 among others.

Other than that, my personal life is slowly getting better. I had a natural disaster set me back rather harshly, but it's looking rather promising that I'll be finally bouncing back very soon.

Games of course and most importantly how will the Switch 2 fare after all the negative issues being thrown all before and after launch.

I'm going to Louder Than Life in September. It's been close to 10 years since I've last been to a music festival, and I've never been to a multi-day festival, nor a festival out of my state. Should be a lot of fun.

Garou Densetsu: City of the Wolves

SNK's Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves to be released April 24, 2025

I always kind of figured it was humanity's superpower that we can create these pieces of art that resonate with us so personally, and often distract us from the banal and sad in life! Entertainment is beautiful and I love philosophizing about it forever.
All three of those games are in my backlog!

I have no prior knowledge of your circumstances (although my DMs are always open if you ever need a stranger to vent to), but I'm so happy to hear that! It's really great to feel like you're coming back from a dark place. The first day of spring after a long winter.
roger waters has to be ancient at this point
He's gotta be like 80 I swear. I think he's just always made music that feels fitting for a wistful old person to play. The same way Radiohead playing in their 70s will probably just look right. That said, I have seen roger live three times and he always impresses. I'm just glad Live at Pompeii is being re-released in its original form before we both die.
Nothing anymore, I get bored in less than an hour after starting a new game.
Great username, also you've gotta try something cage-rattling! Sample a game genre that you're too scared to try! Do it while listening to Dan the Automator's album of hip-hop Bollywood remixes! Do that all wearing mismatched socks and your gaming rut is as good as dead.

Hello fellow Edposter!

This week? A group of my friends have forced me to play Conan Exiles with them-- Yes, yes I know it's bottom of the barrel survival crafter slop -- it's actually been quite fun. The setting is more or less a love letter to the Conan universe even if the aesthetics emphasize the movie depiction over the classic art that portrays Robert E. Howards stories. There's 40 of us in total, we're a mixture of people that made friends over the years through various different MMORPGs!

We've made clans, modded the servers, have a little genuine RP going on and we're going to mess around to see what becomes of it. My character is currently sat in a cage in the middle of a Dafari camp waiting to be rescued. I know it's silly but this honestly some of the most fun I've had in years. It's modded to effectively be pathfinder 2.5's ruleset and we're using a mixture of in game combat with that to settle things.

i've been trying my best to stay positive and hopeful for the future and it's working, to a certain degree.
i am actually excited about what this year has to offer and all the new experiences that are awaiting. and there's a girl i really like, she's nice, very pretty and funny and i don't wanna speak too soon but thinking about asking her out and spending more time with her is really exciting. i think we are a great match, respectfully. but nothing is set in stone, we'll see how things pan out.
but yeah :)

That To Heart 2025 visual novel coming out, of course if it does get released outside of Japan.
I may be the only person on earth to have ever said this, but: I need to play more visual novels. What's it about? Is it gonna be on PC?
I have a hula hoop.

Woah, like that meme with the spidermen pointing at each other! That's so incredibly cool! I'm really anxious all the time, but I'm trying to push myself to play videogames with friends because it seems so fun! I'm glad you've been having so much fun with it!

Replying really late, but how was it? I find that pot makes me awful at pretty much everything but Shmups and Sonic the Hedgehog. Very instinct-based games like that, I guess I just zone-in and can turn a blind eye to all the distractions.

That's so awesome! I can assure you with 100% certainty that true love exists in this world. Anyone telling you to be realistic or settle is full of crap. Chase your ideals. Whoever you are, I'm sure you're a real catch if you're posting on here. She'd be lucky to have you!
Yay I can finally join the cool kids club.

Short-term I'm excited about getting two weeks off for holidays starting monday
That's awesome. I work a lot, so I'm actually really excited for the three days I'm taking off around Easter. I'm not religious in the slightest, but being back home around my family is gonna be exactly what I need right now. I've even burnt my dad a mix CD of all my favorite Panchiko songs for him to sample!!
