I have been keeping an eye on the s2's release and innovation, while the games seem to be eye watering in price, the other problem i seem to have with captin n's choice of license on cart only, so to aim towards digital only (get used to not owing your games) mentality which the industry seems to be heading towards.

With inflation the way it is, i think that the N company are being unreasonable in many ways, 1) price of games, 2) price of console, 3)lack of willingness to support the user and are heading towards IP hording. which could be the beginning of the end.

Please let me know what your thoughts are on this, will you be getting the s2?

It's Bullsnizz like this that makes me grateful for waking up every morning and realizing how awesome it is to be a PC gamer.

Inb4 everyone copies Nintendo going forward.

It's exactly what happened to the Nintendo 64

From my point of view though, this all seems like a continued attempt to kill off physical media for good so they can rid themselves of the middle man and rake in all the revenue directly with digital sales. Everyone has been doing it, and now Nintendo is going in on it as well.

Not really, things have changed in almost 30 years.

The issue is that PC gaming also means that not every games will get PC ports, that a lot of shovelware will be on PC as it's easier to put them there and how you'll have to pray for PC ports to be good, to configure each games as every rigs are different so that if there's an issue it could be GPU-specific and requiring a specific patch to work.

That and the lack of physical games for at least a decade and a half.

It took me ten seconds to understand what s2 and N were supposed to mean.

Please, use full names next time. You won't get arrested, I promise.
There is a reason i do not, when you say the devils name, he can be summoned ::eggmanlaugh

While i agree in the general sense with the PC gaming thing, remember the Kernal mode anti-cheat and DRM. The whole industry is aiming for it, and as such, i would back up your library for steam and the like so you maintain ownership.

Everyone else has already been doing this for a very long time.

You don't own games that you buy on Steam.

Yes but you own your system until they install a kernal mode exploit. Andi have not agreed to the change, i still have my library maintained from 2017, and i log in only off line. So unsure if that means i am maintained by the older agreement, should i delete my library?
