I'm sure I don't have to explain that there have been some remarkably bad english voice overs across gaming history, some so famously bad it almost becomes part of the draw. I can only at this moment think of two fairly well known examples, they being Castlevania Symphony of the Night (whose rough edges in the voice department I find charming, much of it legitimately cracks me up) and Fire Emblem Path of Radiance (whose dub is just plain bad)

I legitimately love legend of dragoon's voice acting. Especially the way dart says every single line.

he just repeats what was said to him like he just discovered the concept they're talking about and is incredibly horrified, even though very little of it is new information to him. like a solid snake that got hit over the head with a wrench.

Everyones got the classics like Mega Man X4 and Mega Man 8 and Robot Alchemic Drive (that one is one of very best)

But maybe the KING of bad voice acting is still Chaos Wars
I played maybe 70% of this whole damn game just to see it. Did you know there's branching paths and some characters are exclusive to them? Or that it's a giant crossover game of really low budget Japanese RPGs and VNs for the most part? Or that it's basically Bad Disgaea?

I even own a copy of it now. I spent $12 entire dollars on it.

I would bring up the Shadow the Hedgehog video game, however I'd say the problem there is more the script than it is the actual acting, but sticking with Shadow, there's a line he says at a few points during Sonic 06's gameplay that I can't help but laugh at, and all I can say is Let's get MOOVING!

Resident Evil is definitely home to some of the worst, most awesome voice acting and dialogue ever written. And the funny thing is that it's no dub. In Japan, the dialogue is the same terrible acting as it is in the west, and this is because initially, Capcom were planning to record a JP audio track, but they ditched at the last minute because it was somehow even worse than what they already had on the EN side.
