I thought you meant actual icons, like "*.ICO" files. I've made a bunch over the years so that I can have box art in Windows Explorer. Sorry to elaborate, used a program called Axialis Icon Workshop. As well I had used Stardock's IconPackager so that all my rom files can have icons as well. I made some of those myself over the years. Little cart icons for NES games, HuCard icons for PC Engine. Ah man, I thought that's what you meant. Video game Icons?? I'm part of the old group, feel old, first system the Atari 2600. You nailed it already, Pac-Man goes way back and Mario and later Sonic. IDK, Solid Snake? (You want graphics?, ok). Vic Viper jet from Gradius. Space Invader Monster, Ryu/Ken/tha rest from Street Fighter, Axel from Bare Knuckle/Streets of Rage. Simon Belmont, Alucard from Castlevania series.
