I failed to embed a video in this post:

The video uploads fine (I can download it from the page after posting it) but I cannot get it to embed in the thread.
I wonder what formats can be embedded into a Thread's Post.

The video uploads fine because I can download it with a right click, or by trying to open it on another tab.
Which seems to indicate the format is not supported by Chromium which would be weird, maybe the format becomes downloadable only through the forum?
Anyways, I would like to upload small videos now and then, and would really appreciate some insight on the optimal parameters.

Hi @popckorn!
As far as i know, the forum uses the browser's native video player to play embedded videos.
It seems mp4, webm and mkv videos are supported.
I hope this helps.

The video in question is the infamous mov format.
Will convert it.
