Every Pin inside was just bend to all hell or just broken/missing. It was like someone took their charger and just cowboy rope swung the vita across their house and yanked the cord out breaking it. [U]MY FIRST THOUGHT:[/U] [B]WHY DID SONY PUT THESE PORTS ON A HANDHELD CONSOLE.[/B] These ports literally look doomed to fail. I sent a picture of the port to my dad who is a CNC electrical engineer and told him "Look how F up this port is" and his first response was "why the hell would they put that specific port on a console like that in the first place" which confirmed my point also. I don't understand why Sony didn't put USB-C on them like THE TECHNOLOGY WAS THERE AT THAT TIME or REUSE THE PSP PORTS SINCE MANY PEOPLE STILL HAD THEM AT TAHAT TIME ALSO. To Conclude: I just ordered a replacement port and I am gonna solder a new one on but I wonder if I Should just order the USB-C Mod they have for the vita and just put that on instead of the OEM Port [/QUOTE]
