yeah but this could have made it sell in the west. It would have been the only entry from that series, but maybe it would have led to other artists getting their own music games too? Sega CD had the Make My Video series.

I won't say he wasn't still a gigantic deal by 1996, but I don't know that even MJ could convince someone to drop the money on a Saturn just to play his game. Moonwalker at least had the tie-in to the home video and all that. But who knows, it would've been interesting to see either way.
