I love everything relating to the underwater, specially if it's horror themed :D I remember I watched a movie literally called Underwater (2020). It was a few years ago so I don't remember the details but I thought it was cool.

I love that movie. I’m hoping we get a sequel one day.

There's a found footage horror movie called The Deep House where divers explore a house submerged in a lake. The beginning is a little rough, but once the dive begins, it gets good. It's also just impressive how they filmed it.
Very cool. I'll check that

The fact that the spaceship was actually underwater instead of being in space was one hell of a twist

This is only loosely related but... remember "Jaws" for the NES?
Holy fuck that game was a let down lol.

For movies, the only ones left I can think of are The Descent and The Cave. Both of them feature cave divers that discover horrors in there respective waterlogged caves.

For games, I recommend Deep Fear, Cold Fear, Subnautica, and Resident Evil Revelations 1 & 2.

That one was pretty good. It's a Lovecraftian themed cosmic horror cyberpunk thingy where some sort of deep sea mining rig wakes up Cthulhu, starring Kristen Stewart. It's kinda funny that both her and Robert Pattinson have actually turned out be great at their craft after starring in the terrible PoS known as the Twilight saga.
