Underrated Cartoons?

Not much anymore, if any.
But Invader Zim is still, my alltime Favorite Cartoon. Always loved anything jhonen vasquez did back in the Day.

His J.T.H.M. Comics where such weird and deranged to me as a Teenager.
Ah, Really wish they had finished up the few episodes they had Scripts fully done for.

Man, that show was a trip when you look back at it.
I guess that's what made it so memorable.

My go to examples:

  • Static shock
  • Symbionic titan
  • Generator Rex
  • Recess
  • What’s with Andy?
  • The weekenders
  • Batman the brave and the bold
  • My adventures with Superman
  • Iron man cartoon
  • Hulk: agents of smash
  • Martin mystery
  • Spawn cartoon
  • Transformers robots in disguise (the old one)
  • Dave the barbarian

Green Eggs and Ham series from Netflix. It's one of the best things ever and I have no one to talk about. Just give it a try. Please.
I've always wanted to check adaptations of Dr. Seuss's books.
But the only ones I've seen are The Cat In The Hat movie and cartoon and The Lorax. (The Illumination movie)

I always really liked Reboot but I don't see it talked about a lot.
I think it was the first fully 3d animated cartoon but I could be wrong about that. The first season's a bit silly and childish because of network censorship but from the end of the second season onwards it gets really good. It's one of the few kid's cartoons I've gone back to as an adult and actually enjoyed more than when I was a kid.

The Zeta Project. It posited very interesting questions about robotics, machine awareness, government surveillance and other brain picking themes. Sadly it mostly fell into obscurity and I believe the plot was never finished.

Yooo, I also watched some of these!
It's always disappointing that Symbiotic Titan was only canceled after only one season...
By the way, did you ever watch Megas XLR?

Green Eggs and Ham is the best one by a wide margin in my opinion.

The original Green Eggs and Ham book is a catchy simple and very small story for children, the series somehow is a series of 23 episodes across two seasons. The way they managed to do that is by interpreting the original story more closely to how Hoodwinked did it rather than how the 90's Grinch cartoon did it.

Despite that, the Dr. Seuss characterization is cranked up to the maximum, not for a single moment you will forget that you're in the Dr. Seuss world.

It is a cartoonish cartoon targeting family friendly audience and that itself may be a barrier to some. But if you're willing to get past that barrier, be known that the plot, creativity and the maturity of certain themes are very much meant to please adult audiences.

It also has uncapped traditional animation, costing about 72 million to make season 1, roughly ten times more than your typical children show slop. The only non-traditional aspect is that the aesthetic clearly reflects digital animation, but the upside about that is that the characters have shading cast on them the entire time.

Total Drama Island.

I was kind of amazed at the jokes they got away with on daytime/primetime Cartoon Network. Just straight up having a woman's shirt get ripped off and bare tits covered with a blur, and later in the episode a guy says "and I saw BOOBIES! What more could a man want?" Appearantly it was even raunchier in Canada.

The only reason i even Remember Total Drama Island <and thus the Reason i watched it>
Was Gwen. Tho after awhile i did get laughs out of the Adult humor.
