Underrated band (I am not lying this time. I hope).

Somewhere only God knows.
So last time I said that Jamiroquai were underrated...well that turned out to be wrong cause everyone under the sun knew who they were and it seemed only I was thinking I found something special. Well, this time, I am 100% certain nobody (at least those who aren't really into power metal) has heard of this band. They are called Stratovarius. Really exceptional band, here are some of my standouts:

Hate to break it to you bud, but Stratovarius is nowhere near underrated. They're pretty aptly rated and known. You need to get much more niche than this.

Aren't they, like, the poster child of Euro power metal? At least they used to be some time ago. Not a slight against them or anything like that, they're a decent band but nowhere near being unknown.

You're gonna need to come with a band that played in a dude's garage in Glasgow like three times in 1983 or something if you want to present a band that is unknown. But it's cool that you're finding music you like!

Sadly, that would mean that they never recorded anything and it would be literally impossible to say whether or not they deserved a better fate as a band.

Here's something I don't see people talking about:
This 1988 demo is their only legacy. Shame.

The thing is, they aren't talked about, at least not from what I have searched. I ain't saying they have never been popular, rather they have, but nowadays you really never hear them being in discussion, hence my description of them being "underrated"

Not necessarily. Plenty of bands out there that just didn't make it or only stayed together a short while, it doesn't mean zero recordings exist. It's just that OP keeps landing on stuff people know, is all.

I mean yeah, I am just cursed with finding things out too late.
Nah, not a curse. You don't gotta be the first to discover a thing for it to be enjoyable. Half the groups I really like, were over by the time I'd heard them, but it just means I wish I could've seen them in concert or whatever. The albums are good even if it isn't in the moment.

I really like Willy Rodriguez, and this album as a whole. Very good queer noise pop.

Obscure band but I do really like this album

not really THAT obscure, especially if you're in music forums, but like generally unknown and niche
