Umihara Kawase Shun: Second Edition (Japan-PSN) PSP Eboot

This edition is a re-release of the original Umihara Kawase: Shun, also for the Sony PlayStation, released back in 1997. In terms of new content, new levels have been added, as well as several bugfixes, but it is essentially the same game as the first edition. (Source: Mobygames)

the psp version is bad. the physics are all wrong.
play this one for a while and then play the psp version, you'll see what i mean.

i prefer the first edition.
the tv commercial interludes are fun to watch.
The Super Famicom version is also better in terms of character controls. I was struck by the difference when I switched to the PS1 version after many hours on the first version.

And that last image of the protagonist?! Japanese people making players happy! 😏
The second version removes commercial interludes. The original version includes in-game advertising like Mitchell rods.

So which one is better for psp, this one or portable edition?

PS1, PSP and Vita they're basically same. I think PSP have stretched visuals
I've read on the wiki it wasn't the same:

Umihara Kawase Portable disappointed critics on release, due to a bug-ridden physics engine, which differed in crucial aspects to its predecessors. Further criticism was leveled at the new visual perspective, which sometimes interfered with play.
While characterizing the game's Second Edition as an improvement, especially due to the removal of advertising, Kalata called the PlayStation Portable version "frankly, terrible", saying that it was "so full of bugs that it's nearly unplayable" and that the physics engine had been changed. Saying that it got a bad reputation almost immediately due to gameplay videos of the different physics, he noted it as a commercial flop.
