This is one of those games where you'd spend long nights in your friend's house after Halloween betting candy to whoever wins. The time when CPU vs CPU was mostly used.

For the game itself, it's not bad, nor was great. It's a more cartoony and flashy take on wrestling games with absurd moves and unusual character designs which were great at the time. Content wise, this game didn't offer much but was definitely worth playing with friends. You had your basic, grab, punch and jump buttons. But doing a combination of those said commands can make you pull off ridiculously awesome moves against foes. The roster didn't offer much but the future releases fixed that problem but wasn't met with the same praise as the original.

This is the game where lackluster content, simple gameplay, and weird graphics were welcome and praised. It's just nostalgia actually, and the fact that your friends still play this alongside you.
