Everyone looking for new shows or series to watch or binge? Post it here. One show to a post, so we can all browse topic easier. Brief non spoiler synopsis. Come on, bring on those gems you really like, what ever they are. Local, but a good show? Tell us. Steaming exclusive? Tell us. Something from another country in your native language? Tell us.

I'll it kick off.:

Show you may not have heard of, Banshee. It stars Antony Starr (Homelander from the Boys) as an ex con who assumes the identity of a town's murdered sheriff, while dodging the Ukrainian mafia. Set in a fictional small town Banshee in Pennsylvania. Worth watching, ran for 4 seasons. You'll get to see Starr being Homelander before he was Homelander. (easy to see why he was cast.) Decent story and action.

It's a crime drama based on the life of Pablo Escobar, a Colombian Drug Lord.
The show is told from the perspective of DEA agent, Stephen Murphy.

One show to a post please, imagine the person you're telling about the show doesn't know what you're talking about.
Sorry.

Anyway, a show I recently watched on netflix that I really recommend is Suits. It's basically a legal dramedy with sharp dialogue and likeable characters. A favorite of mine is Louis, Rick Hoffman's facial expressions are priceless.

Recently, it got a spinoff of sorts, Suits LA, with Arrow star Stephen Amell. You can skip that one. I watched the first episode and didn't like it at all, it feels like it throws you in the middle of an ongoing arc without providing the necessary context to either the plot or characters to actually give a shit.

Its cool. Thats the idea of the thread so we can all share something new for us all to watch. Brief description for so we can all see if we wanna invest some time to see a new show or series.

Next one I got is the series, Warrior. Following a Chinese martial arts immigrant in 1870s San Francisco, with the Axe Tong gangs at the time. Cool fight scenes, good drama and nice sets. Worth watching, currently 3 seasons.

I wanna say Twin Peaks. While I do not like the answer to the mystery itself personally, I really like the characters, they feel very alive. Like the entire setting is a character unto itself. Starts off kind of slow though. It is a murder mystery show. I just wanna say it is more about the journey than the destination for this one.

And now for an import, at least for me anyways. Unnatural. Set in Japan, its about a group of forensic doctors working at the Unnatural Death Investigation Laboratory, looking into cases where people die from unnatural causes. Drama with its setting sets it apart from US CSI type shows. Limited series, 1 season.

I recently stumbled onto "The Goes Wrong Show". British show, but It's on Prime in the US. I haven't laughed so hard from a TV show in a very long time.

The premise is that each episode the same group of actors in a sort of community playhouse type thing (a fictional theatre troupe made up of people in a real troupe called "Mischief Theatre"), perform a play in front of a live audience somewhere in England and it's broadcast throughout the nation. However, every thing that could possibly go wrong with each production does.. in the most hysterical, unexpected ways possible.

For example, one of the episodes is a courtroom drama play. Unfortunately, the set designers for the courtroom set received the specifications in inches, but mistakenly built the set in cm, so that one particular set is extra tiny. Hilarity ensues while the cast attempts to push through the play anyway.

It's kind of hard to explain, you just need to watch it.

Loudermilk is a show about a guy who runs an AA group. That's basically it, but it follows his relationships with each of the members of the group and their personal struggles with addiction.

If you've ever dealt with addiction yourself, I think it's a really good show to watch. It handles the subject in a realistic but comedic fashion.

Idk, I really enjoyed it. I thought it was well written and pretty damn funny.

I think the next show I'll watch is season two of Severance. It's Ben Stiller's take on the cyberpunk genre. Reminds me somehow a lot of Gilliam's Brazil, which is the greatest movie of all times. The concept of the show is about a big tech corporation coming with the ultimate solution for their worker's life balance : grafting in their skulls a device that makes them develop a dissociative identity disorder, so they have an alternate personality doing all the work hours, and once they leave their workplace they cant remember a thing of what their job is about. To be frank I dont know if it's science-fiction or anticipation at this time, with the amount of Neuralink monkeys around. Let's say it's hard sci-fi with dark humor.

Next up, I got a Korean show, Gyeongseong Creature. Set during the Japanese occupation of Korea during WWII, Japanese military does experiments to civilians, creating a monster. Good character development and back story for them as the story progresses. So far, 2 seasons.

I'm coming at everyone with a classic comedy series I'm surprised a lot of young people seem to have not seen.
Going way back you'll get to see Reacher star Alan Ritchson early in his career. I'm talking about Blue Mountain State. Set in a fictional college Blue Mountain State following the antics of the football team and their misadventures. If you've never seen it, you really should. Ran for 3 seasons, with a movie to conclude the series, BMS: The Rise of Thad Land. Word of a revival has been going around as well.

Come on over seas bros, tell us some shows you got over there for us to check out.
