I would like to know if there are any people on this forum who are interested in TRLEs (a term used for Tomb Raider games made by the community using the engines from the old games and newer ones).

I know there is a space for ROM hacks on the forum, but I don't know if TRLEs really fit into that category. So I took advantage of this space reserved for PC to talk about these games.

A friend recently released Folklorist Diary II - The Cursed Memories, based on the Tomb Raider 3 engine, and it was a great experience, so I thought it would be interesting to bring it to this community.

Partly, yes.
I got into it by finding this CD with a "Campaign", some of the Levels included there are really well done

Tomb Raider has the same Potential as Doom in having a unlimited amount of fanmade Games

I didn't know this exist! Thanks for letting us know
Not only does it exist, but it has a large community dedicated to it. Most of the games created are made in the Tomb Raider 4 engine, but there are games based on Tomb Raider 1, 2, 3 and 5 (and one in a new engine, the "Tomb Engine", which goes a little beyond the limits of the others).

There are well-known TRLEs released since 2002.

That's great to know, I'll check it out
And again, thanks!

I don't know this Lost Levels, but the "Tomb Raider Level Editor" seems to be the official software released with Tomb Raider Chronicles (I don't know if it is), but in a conversation with a TRLE level builder, he told me that the software they use nowadays is very different and more complete.

The original Level Editor came with TR V :)

The Levels on this Discs are partly on common Websites with Tomb Raider Custom Levels, some seem to be exclusive.
The very first Level has a very very clever Conclusion in the End, can recommend it :)
The others do vary in Quality.
