If there's inflammation compression gloves might give some relief.
In my case, I'm almost certain it was from a bad typing posture. And also, me adding lifting weights on top of the strain I already put on my wrists. Thanks though. It can be caused by food, you might be eating something making you allergic. Look up Dr Steven Gundry. Beans and grains are a common culprit.
Vitamin D might be worth a try if you don't get much sun, also it strengthens your gut lining.
Vitamin D goes with Vitamin A; which not many people are aware of.

Thanks for the tips. I went to a rheumatologist who diagnosed me. And she prescribed medicine and patches I have to wear every night for three weeks. I hope this improves it, or injections may be needed after that. The best thing to do is talk to your doctor. It could be a repetitive motion injury, or it could be something else. I had major muscle-related health issues a few years ago, and traditional physical therapy did nothing. What I found worked wonders for me - and I still have the procedure done regularly - is dry needling. The procedure uses acupuncture needles, but targets trigger points in the muscles. It essentially fatigues the knotted muscles to the point where they can no longer stay tense, and they release. It's not the most pleasurable experience, but it has worked well for me and has kept me functional. If what you're experiencing is muscle related, it could be worth looking into.
