Thoughts on Nightdive?

I'm pretty pissed at them myself. Their Blood remaster is the second time they've remastered a game twice without offering a discount to owners of the previous version. It was bad when they did it with System Shock 2, but now with Blood, it's inexcusable. Their previous attempt at a Blood remaster was pretty bad I love the game but I refuse to buy it for a third time especially with the rediculas 30 dollar price tag.

I'm sure that the Blood situation was more a Warner Bros(as Warner owns the IP and this time is directly involved to get the game in consoles) or Atari thing

Loved their work on the System Shock remake, as well as the System Shock 2 and Quake remasters.

Nightdive does good work most of the time, whereas Warner Bros has a history of screwing things up, so I'm willing to give Nightdive the benefit of the doubt and blame WB on the Blood Re-remaster.

I've only played the Turok remasters but from my experience they are awesome versions.

yea that price in not great, i guess ill have to wait for a discount. i would have preordered it, but i was afraid it was going to be a buggy mess on release like fresh supply was.

I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt but they did the same shit with system shock 2. They do good work but their prices are terrible.

Inconsistent, sometimes they do a very good job, sometimes it's a botched rush-job, but either way their releases are WAY overpriced.

Their new version of Blood finally gets it right... but considering the original source code is now complete and the game has already been 100% preserved perfectly via NBlood, the price tag is a pretty hard sell.
